ABOUT ME
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. I provide individual therapy and psychodiagnostic assessment to adolescents and adults.
I am passionate about helping people overcome their struggles and guiding them towards positive change, personal growth, and meaning. My journey to becoming a psychologist included studies at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, The New School for Social Research in New York City, and OISE/University of Toronto, where I earned my doctoral degree in Clinical and Counselling Psychology. My doctoral research focused heavily on the transition to adulthood; specifically, how social and cultural factors impact risky health behaviours during the developmental stage of emerging adulthood.
Throughout my clinical training I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of adolescents and adults in settings such as The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre (where I completed my pre-doctoral internship), Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, Markham Stouffville Hospital, OISE Psychology Clinic, and in private practice in Toronto.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, canoe trips, and spending time in nature.

my approach
My therapeutic style can be described as authentic, warm, inclusive and non-judgemental. I strongly believe that the relationship between therapist and client is fundamental to the change process. I work collaboratively with my clients – the experts of their own experiences – to identify and draw out their strengths and leverage them in therapy (and also in life!).

My approach to treatment is integrative and informed by evidence-based methods, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills, and Psychodynamic Therapy. This approach affords me the flexibility to tailor one’s treatment to their unique and emerging needs.
